About this event

Create an impactful and succinct CV that will stand out to potential employers and help you land the job you really want.

The CV struggle is real, but fear not, we have the solution!

Our CV surgery with Career Coach Jodie will be a hands-on, practical workshop during which you’ll be updating your CV, live, in the session. Remove those distractions, eliminate the mental blocks and learn how to capture the attention of your potential employers.

CVs aren’t complicated, but they need to be succinct and impactful so that they are both noticed and easily understood. The work of a CV is not in writing about your life story, but in editing that story so that the right parts stand out.

Leave the session feeling confident and with these valuable takeaways:

  • Understand the ways that employers approach CVs
  • Capture the attention of potential employers
  • Tailor your CV for different jobs & have a good general CV in your back pocket
  • Which information to include in your CV, and which in your cover letter
  • How to present your information in the best way
  • Use the right kind of dynamic language
  • Know how to sell your skills and achievements
  • Get specific and succinct so that the reader can immediately know what makes you a potential employee

What are you waiting for? Get that CV summer ready and book today!

To best prepare for this workshop Jodie recommends you bring your CV and be ready to give it a makeover.
